I’m Kayla, a multidisciplinary designer and quiet worldbuilder who treats creativity like a living ecosystem. My work sits at the intersection of instinct and intention — part artist, part engineer — shaped by years of studying the subtle alchemy between structure, emotion, and form.
I build brands and digital spaces the way nature builds anything worth keeping: slowly, attentively, and with an eye for the quiet transformations that change everything.
It's Meeeeeee
I didn’t return to design so much as I returned to myself. For years I traded imagination for practicality and tried to shrink into expectations that were never made for me. The real struggle was never talent. It was the steady chorus of voices insisting that art is unstable, that passion should be narrowed, that multi-passionate people must fold themselves into something smaller to appear cohesive.

My work exists to counter that by building systems strong enough to hold complexity without forcing anyone to edit themselves down. I shape brands like living architecture, guided by questions that anchor my process: What carries weight? What patterns want to repeat? What rhythm feels true? Instead of asking clients to simplify who they are, I create grounded frameworks where identity feels whole, expressive, and alive. Your creativity is not too much. It is the structure we build from.

Soft Logic is growing into an ecosystem, a place where brands are tended with intention and given room to evolve. The Atelier holds the heart of the work, offering ongoing refinement, while the Greenhouse and the Library will grow alongside it to support those who want templates, tools, and guidance that feel nourishing rather than overwhelming.

These spaces share a single purpose: to give multi-passionate creatives a world that reflects their depth instead of asking them to flatten it. As people move through this work, confusion becomes clarity and scattered pieces begin to form a coherent, rooted whole. My goal is not only to build beautiful brands but to help people finally recognize themselves in what they create.
What I’m Reading
Letting The Sower's Parable stretch my imagination and sharpen the way I see the world.
What I’m Listening To
Letting A L E X, Idealism, eery, Zach Farache, and Tv Girl loop in the background as I work, all mood and momentum.
What I’m Planning
Mapping out a gentle little getaway to Tyson's Corner, a change of place to spark new perspective. A friend wanted to go to the asian market there
What I’m Dreaming About
Sketching the contours of my future home, a space that feels rooted, quiet, and wholly mine.
What I’m Playing
Getting lost in Hollow Knight Silksong, because even designers need worlds to wander.
